Full Mineral Processing
This service involves processing and calculation of the heavy minerals fraction of the sample. It is a multi-stage process that includes quarantine, splitting, removal of the clay fraction and oversized fraction from the sample, drying and separation of heavy minerals by heavy media separation.
Diamantina’s mineral processing procedure has, in the last year, been automated and semi-computerised to guard against errors and ensure reliable results. We have also introduced standards samples into the system to check the reliability of these results. We also provide short courses by independent consultants in mineral processing and mineralogy to our staff.
